Infusion day

Infusion day

As you may know I have MS and I’m very fortunate to be able to have amazing medicine that has stopped all relapses since I started it. It is called Tysabri and i have a 1 hour infusion every 4 weeks. The whole appointment takes about 1 ½ hours so it’s a very small price to pay to stay fit and healthy (fit-ish and healthy-ish lol)

Yesterday was my infusion day so i made a short vlog to show you all how my day goes.

I normally get very tiered just after but by the next day i have a spring in my step and feel much better.

So yesterday i started my day with a cup of coffee, black and without sugar, just the way I like it, and i did a little work while sitting in peace and quiet. I headed off to the hospital in the car listening to the boss babe podcast for inspiration.

I got there and popped into B&M (who can resist) for some essentials before walking to the hospital. The nurses are all wonderful and look after us with such great care offering us coffee and chatting about what’s been going on.

Once I’m finished I’m in a rush as I have double booked and I’m supposed to be getting my eyebrows microbladed by a lovely friend at Peaches salon. I’m a little late but my lovely friend has made time for me.

I treat myself to a McPlant before heading home and flopping into bed!

After a good nap I’m ready to make tea, Melody’s favourite mac’n’cheese and chill on the sofa with hubby and dogs whilst binge watching some TV! A very chilled day really and just what I need to look after myself.

Do you have any treatments to help with your conditions?

How does your day go?

Do you give yourself time to rest?

Sam x
